With a commitment of providing reliable products, TSI established Nutrifood Research Center for Diet and Sport Nutrition (NRC) in late 2004. NRC actively conducts researches and clinical studies related to human health. In doing such activities, NRC also collaborates with other research institutions and universities. Besides, NRC is always updated with related scientific information from around the world.
Nutrigenomics is one of the research topics that are currently being studied by NRC. It is general knowledge that what we eat affects our health and physical conditions. But it is only until recently scientists can reveal the effect of food to individuals’ bodies based on their genetic structures. Despite of the 99.9 % similarity in human’s 2.9 millions genomes, the 0.1% difference creates a significant difference in each person’s characteristic.
Nutrigenomics is a relatively young science thus we work together with universities and other research institutions to enrich our knowledge.
